WHO IS
Greater Destiny Church

We are a church who believes that all people are given second chances in life. There is no respectable person with God. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Here at Greater Destiny Church, the true infallible word of God does come forth from our very own Pastor (Sr. Pastor Travis Rogers) as he breaks forth the bread of life and feeds the flock of God. Not only do we believe that the word will keep you but our worship experience is what sets the atmosphere! Our church was founded upon the book of Haggai where the temple of God would be built in three days and on the third day worship in it. So we did.

What we believe

We believe that the bible is the true infallible word of God. That there is only One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. That the only means of being cleansed from sin, is through repentance, faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ and accepting the Gospel according to Romans 10:9-10. That the baptism in the Holy Ghost according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world.

We endeavor to be a Ministry of Excellence. While Pastor Rogers has detailed the 5 year plan according to the God given vision for this house, we must assess our progress towards these goals. This must be done simultaneously

while empowering members (Full Life Coaches) and fulfilling ministry objectives (5 Star Team).

Our vision

MEANING

Striving diligently to demonstrate Godly compassion, standards, statutes, and precepts to all mankind according to Phillippians 2:3, and Deuteronomy 28:1-14.

PURPOSE

To serve, lead, and teach all mankind in a ministry that meets the totality of Godly morals and standards; to include human, social, and economic services according to Psalms 1:16, and John 13:14-17.

DIRECTION

Taking, discipling, and demonstrating the love of God throughout a lost and dying world, attempting to reach the needs of all mankind. To enter the 21st century with a fresh and vibrant 10 year plan according to James 1:27 and Matthew 28:19-20.

Youth Ministry

Our Youth Ministry leaders focus on making sure that the children are raised up knowing who Jesus is. The way we demonstrate this is by showing the children love through events which we hold. Our goal is to raise leaders for the next generation by planting the seed of leadership in these children's lives.
